Michel graduated in Political Science from the University of Montreal and the Promedia Radio-television school in Montreal.
He made his debut in Rouyn-Noranda in 1991, where he stayed until 1999. He has also worked in the Drummondville region as well as in Montreal, where he worked for Info690 and the TVA network.
Back in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he joined the RNC MEDIA team in Val-d'Or in 2010. His versatility allows him to cover both sports and cultural activities, including politics, health and social affairs.
Michel is the father of two boys, Karl and Mathieu.
